EQT streamlines communication and growth with modular web platform

EQT Group is a global investment firm specializing in sectors such as private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and venture capital. Since its founding in 1994, EQT has maintained a clear objective: to create long-term sustainable value by investing in high-growth potential companies. By actively engaging in the development of these companies and combining their own resources and expertise with strategic investments, EQT contributes to increased profitability and long-term sustainability for both rapidly growing and established businesses.

Need for stability and security

When EQT decided to switch their external website platform to Sanity CMS, the ambition was to harmonize their technology stack with the rest of the organization. EQT needed a partner capable of combining high technical expertise with a strong understanding of communication requirements and the organization’s long-term goals. It was critical to find a supplier who could deliver a technically advanced solution, while also advising internal technology and communication teams—especially regarding system architecture and implementation, based on a pre-defined information and design structure.

Beyond simply delivering the web platform, there was a clear need for long-term stability in platform management. EQT sought a supplier who could manage continuous maintenance and development in a way that balanced agility with cost-effectiveness. The platform needed to adapt quickly to changing needs without compromising on quality or stability.

Solution offering high scalability and flexibility

To meet EQT’s complex requirements, ted&gustaf assembled a dedicated team of specialists. The team managed everything from strategic planning and project management to technical architecture and implementation. By combining expertise, the team ensured a smooth implementation process and delivered a platform tailored to current and future needs.

With a dedicated support team in place for ongoing management, EQT's organization could effectively handle content in daily operations. With response times significantly faster than industry averages, EQT felt assured that business-critical communication would reach its audience promptly, even within tight timeframes.

Results that stand the test of time

  • Launched on time and within budget despite project size, number of people involved, and tight deadlines.
  • At launch, it was the largest platform built on Sanity CMS in the Nordics.
  • Cost-effective technical scalability.

The new web platform launched on time, surpassing initial expectations for scalability and flexibility. Initially theoretical scalability soon proved itself in practice, as EQT swiftly expanded the platform to accommodate additional websites. The modular architecture of the platform enabled easy integration of new sites—from organizationally independent units to market-specific websites—without increasing complexity or operating costs.

The strategic investment in a robust and future-proof web platform thus resulted in sustainable digital infrastructure that effectively met EQT’s dynamic communication needs.

The web platform was successfully launched in june 2021.
