The Challenge

The previous website struggled to reflect the full scope of Fountain House Stockholm’s activities and provide an inclusive digital experience. The goal was to create a platform that was:

  • Easy to navigate for both members and visitors.

  • Simple to update and manage internally.

  • Clear in communicating the organization’s values, programs, and societal impact.

Accessibility, clear structure, and usability were critical factors for the website to function as a hub for both information and engagement.

The Solution

We focused on strategy, UX/UI design, CMS architecture, and development to ensure a flexible and sustainable solution. The project included:

  • Modern and intuitive design: Created a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate website that clearly communicates Fountain House Stockholm’s mission and activities.

  • Inclusive user experience (UX): Ensured the design is accessible and easy to use for everyone, reflecting the organization’s values of community.

  • Robust content structure: Implemented a flexible framework that allows easy updating of information about programs, studies, employment opportunities, health activities, and other key areas.

  • Iterative collaboration: Worked closely with the Fountain House team, continuously testing to fine-tune design and functionality.

Results

The new website has significantly improved Fountain House Stockholm’s digital reach and internal communication:

  • Improved access to information: Members and visitors can now easily find relevant information about programs, activities, and support services.

  • Enhanced member engagement and well-being: The platform supports the organization’s work in mental health, with data showing that many members experience a meaningful positive impact from the support.

  • Increased societal impact: The improved digital presence contributes to greater visibility and underscores the organization’s importance both socially and economically.

  • Quality assurance and sustainability: The modular platform makes it easy to maintain and update content according to organizational guidelines and standards, ensuring consistent, high-quality communication.
