In my role within Customer Success, I work with all of our clients, which makes the old saying that "no day is like the other" surprisingly accurate after all. At work I spend my day balancing between the technology and business requirements and needs. Together with my partner-in-crime Charlotte, we manage all incoming support requests.
Previously, I worked more with communication and marketing at several different companies, but my curiosity about how things actually work from a technical point of view led me to the agency side. Here, I have the advantage of being able to bombard the more tech-savvy colleagues with questions. Since I’ve worked as a web editor for a few years myself, I have a pretty good understanding of the challenges our clients’ editors face.
My superpower is to understand what someone actually means or asks — not just literally what they’re asking. For me, it’s always about putting myself in the other person’s shoes and trying to view the problem from that perspective. It works surprisingly well, you should try it.
Outside of work, I have an ambivalent relationship between being active and relaxing. There’s nothing like settling down into a comfy couch and letting the thoughts wander, but having an active lifestyle is fun too. I have a playful Beagle that demands long walks every day and I seem to refuse to give up on my dream of a professional football contract, I've now played 25+ seasons.
